Did you know you can sand on a CNC machine? Sanding a walnut slab on the CNC using the new Amana Tool In-Sand 4" CNC Orbital sanding attachment! It's important to make sure that the slab is surfaced flat before using the sander on the wood. The sander is dynamically balanced to limit vibration. It is spring loaded to keep the correct sanding pressure on the pad extending the life of the sandpaper. This tool is a game changer for processing large slabs on a CNC machine and removes a lot of the sanding work needed after surfacing slabs. I was very impressed with how well this worked and removed the lines from surfacing perfectly! I'm using 80 grit paper here. Check out the tools used on our website.
