  Insert Spoilboard Surfacing, Rabbeting, Flycutter, Slab Leveler, Surface Planer and Bed Skimming Router Bits

  Each surfacing bit features a two-knife design. Engineered with an Amana-exclusive carbide grade for the highest quality of cut, maximum cutting efficiency, and faster material removal process.

  The insert knives each have four cutting edges that allow users to flip the knife over when one side becomes dull. To cut general purpose material use two (2) #AMA-12 insert knives (not for use on #RC-2242). Amana’s New Radius edge Cutter RC-2242 is best recommended to be used for planning/flattening in surfaces of large solid wood slabs with a handheld router in router sleds. Also known as a Surface Planing, Rabbeting, Flycutter, Fly Cutter, Leveler and Bed Skimming Router Bit.
